Thermal Imaging Camera for Detecting Crop Disease

Problem Statement:

Pakistan's agricultural sector is still being run using antiquated technologies. It is also the one that affects 70% of Pakistan's population. It can benefit greatly from introducing new technology and products that could create more fiscal opportunities for the rural area..

Type:

Reseach & Proof 0f Concept.

Description:

Thermal or Infrared imaging provides a quick way to diagnose diseases in plants at an early stage. Use of aerial scans or localized thermal scanning can provide monitoring of the crops for diseases that will provide ample time for fighting the disease and saving the crops. The idea is to research and understand Heat Imaging and doing it at a low cost so that the benefits are justifiable. The project could create a scientific monitoring process that provides a lot of value with little investment. The idea is to use infrared imaging techniques to establish the scientific foundation for these formulations and establish the effectiveness in a scientific discipline..
