Problem Statement:

Electronics industry has been behind the progress of the asian economies like Japan, Taiwan, China, etc. Pakistan needs to make major strides in this area in order to grow as an industrial country. This is a low cost high skill based area that is suitable for small and mid level industries and micro level design and assembly facilities..

Description:

The project is a visual course that will teach how to produce electronic toys using electronic components, PCBs, Power circuit and remote controls. It will also teach how to deal with special requirements as mechanical motors and solenoids. More sophisticated methods will also be discussed to emphasize quality assurance. The entrepreneurs will also be taught to create products of world class quality. If we can create world class quality we should be able to get into a large international electronic toy market. This also involves coming up with attractive plastic packaging with high quality die and mold design so that product cases are of international caliber as well..


People Impact:

Because it needs assembly skills electronics can employ and create a large number of jobs..


Financial Impact:

Electronics can result in quick revenue streams with export markets as Pakistan is in a very strategic position close to Middle East and Africa..
